Chocolate Fudge Brownie
Ingredients
- 125 grm margarine
- 160 grm dark choc
- 2 cups brown sugar
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- ½ vanilla,coffee powder
- 1 ½ cups plain flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
Method
Melt chocolate and marg together, gently mixing. Add sugar and cocoa and stir for 5 mins. Let it cool. Mix in eggs, vanilla, coffee. Stir in the flour and baking powder and mix well. Pour (scrape!) the mix into a greased cake tin.
Cook 30 mins cool then slice.
The mix gets quite stiff when you are doing the 'stir for 5 mins' bit.
The cake won't look terribly cooked after ½ an hour in the oven but of course some of the ingredients have been cooked earlier in the process. It firms up as it cools and some one will still eat it even if it doesn't!
